MEET YOUR COACH, ADE BAKARI

Ade Bakari is deeply passionate about health, fitness, and especially calisthenics. He was drawn to this form of exercise because it highlights the importance of connecting the entire human movement system without relying on a gym. When he first started coaching, he was inspired by the impressive physiques of people practicing calisthenics. This sparked his self-taught journey and ignited his desire to share his passion for calisthenics with others.

Ade's approach extends beyond mere exercise; he is committed to teaching clients the science behind the movements, empowering them with a deeper understanding of their training program.

When he’s not empowering clients, Ade enjoys spending quality time with his two children. On weekends, he loves taking long motorcycle rides, hiking throughout the Bay Area, and embarking on other outdoor adventures. A lifelong learner, Ade continuously seeks to expand his knowledge of calisthenics and also nurtures his passions for cooking and reading.

WHERE WILL WE TRAIN?

Until we have our own facility in Oakland, we've partnered up with Pinpoint gym which is located in Oakland at 5044 Woodminster Ln. There is plenty of free parking and they offer spa/recovery services.

1-ON-1 PERSONAL TRAINING (MONTHLY)

3 times per week - $110 per session

2 times per week - $115 per session

1 times per week - $120 per session

Monthly rates are based on an average of 4.33 weeks in a month and must be paid in full.

1-on-1 sessions are great for clients who require more attention or who simply feel more comfortable training without other people around. This training option offers our undivided attention for the whole session. Plus, we can chat about how you spent your weekend between sets!

WHAT EXERCISES WILL WE DO?

We will do exercises that will make you stronger—that is going to be the focus of your program. Getting stronger will help you grow muscle, which, in return, will help you lose fat due to an increase in your metabolism. Examples of such exercises are squats, push ups, pull ups, lunges as well as more advanced exercises such as human flag, muscle ups and pistol squats once you get stronger. Any time our clients can't do a certain exercise, we make them do a regressed version (elevated push up instead of floor push ups for example). When our clients can comfortably do the exercise, then we do a progression (pistol squats instead of regular squats). The goal is to get to the next level, no matter where you are starting.
